As one of the very important accessories on cranes, electric hoists have many precautions to pay attention to during operation. Below, I will list them one by one:

1. Before using the electric hoist, the mechanical and electrical parts of the equipment should be checked. The steel wire rope, hook, limiter, etc. should be intact, and the electrical parts should have no leakage. The grounding device should be in good condition.

2. Electric hoists should be equipped with buffers, and baffles should be installed at both ends of the track.

3. When lifting heavy objects for the first time, the work should be stopped 100 mm above the ground. Check the braking condition of the electric hoist and confirm that it is in good condition before starting the formal work. When working outdoors, a rain shelter should be installed.

4. Overloading lifting is strictly prohibited for electric hoists. When lifting, hands should not be held between the rope and the object, and collision should be strictly avoided when lifting the object.

5. Lifting objects should be securely tied. When using an electric hoist to lift heavy objects, the height of the object above the ground should exceed 1.5 meters. Do not suspend heavy objects in the air during work breaks.

6. If abnormal conditions such as odor and high temperature occur during the operation of the electric hoist, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting before continuing to use.
