When we use electric hoists, it is inevitable that there will be mistakes in operation. If these mistakes cause the reducer to have a fever and get sick, how should we treat this disease? First, identify the cause of the fever and then prescribe the appropriate medication.
Reason 1: The quality of the electric hoist is unqualified. The solution to this situation is, of course, to purchase a new stage electric hoist that is of good quality and has normal heat dissipation from the reducer.
Reason 2: The reduction gear of the reducer is worn and prone to heat generation due to friction. In this case, it is necessary to check the degree of gear wear and decide whether to replace the gear.
Reason three: Long term uninterrupted use. If the reducer is in working condition for a long time and only heats up without dissipating heat, it is naturally prone to fever. The solution is to pay attention to a balance between work and rest.
Reason 4: There are impurities or too much lubricating oil in the gearbox. Solution: Open the inspection hole and observe if there are any impurities and excess oil flowing out of the gearbox. If impurities are removed, pour out excess oil.
Reason 5: Heating at the bearings causes the gearbox to overheat. The stage hoist gearbox may have a "fever" due to wear or breakage of the bearings. Solution: Replace the bearings.
