Three common faults of stage electric hoists:

1. Whether the power supply system is supplying power to the electric hoist is generally tested with a test pen. If there is no power supply, wait for the power to be supplied before working; The electrical damage, disconnection or poor contact of the main and control circuits of the hoist can also prevent the hoist motor from being powered on. In this case, it is necessary to inspect the main and control circuits. During inspection, in order to prevent the power supply from the main and control circuits to the three-phase motor from being out of phase;

2. If the motor is burned or suddenly powered on, causing harm, it is necessary to disconnect the hoist motor from the power line, only supply power to the main and control circuits, then click the start and stop switches, check and analyze the working condition of the control electrical appliances and circuits, repair or replace the problematic electrical appliances or circuits, and only after confirming that the main and control circuits are free of faults, can the test run be restarted;

3. The voltage at the motor end of the hoist is more than 10% of the rated voltage, and the starting torque of the motor is too small, which makes the hoist unable to lift the goods and cannot work. When checking, use a multimeter or voltmeter to measure the input voltage of the motor. If the voltage is too low and the motor cannot start, wait for the system voltage to return to normal before using the electric hoist. Sometimes, the voltage of the hoist motor is normal, but the hoist does not work. This needs to consider other reasons, such as: the motor is burned out and needs to be replaced during maintenance; Due to long-term disuse and poor maintenance, the brake wheel and end cover of the gourd rust to death. When starting, the brake wheel cannot be detached, and the motor only makes a "hum" sound, unable to rotate, and the gourd cannot work. At this point, the brake wheel should be removed, the rusted surface should be cleaned, and then a new test run should be conducted; Severe cleaning of the motor can also cause the motor to not rotate. If this situation is found, it should be stopped and the motor must be overhauled or replaced to ensure the normal operation of the hoist. In addition, overloading the use of electric hoists is strictly prohibited in production. When the goods are overloaded, the hoist cannot lift the goods, and the motor only makes a "hum" sound without running. In severe cases, it may burn the motor and even cause accidents. In this case, the machine should be stopped immediately to reduce the load and make the hoist work at its rated power.
