Daily Maintenance Method for Mini Stage Manual Hoist: Cleaning and Rust Prevention

Cleaning Timing and Scene Adaptation

Cleaning must be carried out immediately after each stage setup/dismantling operation (especially after use in utdoor exhibitions or humid environments). If the interval between operations exceeds 24 hours, supplementary cleaning is required before the hoist is left idle. For common stage contaminants such as dust (e.g., gold powder for prop decoration, stage set fibers), residual stage paint, and ground water stains, appropriate cleaning methods should be selected based on the type of contaminant.

Chain Cleaning of Mini Stage Manual Hoist

First, hang the manual hoist on a stable bracket, release the brake to allow the chain to hang down naturally. Use a stiff-bristle brush (with moderate bristle hardness to avoid scratching the chain surface plating) to scrub along the chain pitch direction, removing sediment and fibers from the gaps. If the oil contamination is heavy, spray a neutral cleaning agent (e.g., diluted industrial detergent solution with a concentration of 5%-8%) on the chain surface, let it stand for 3-5 minutes, then rinse with a high-pressure water gun (water pressure ≤ 0.3MPa, nozzle distance from the chain ≥ 30cm to prevent chain pin damage due to impact force). Avoid allowing the cleaning agent to seep into the brake of the mini stage manual hoist.

Cleaning of Hook and Load-bearing Components

Use a lint-free cloth dipped in isopropyl alcohol (75% concentration) to wipe the hook cavity, pulley groove, connecting plate and other parts. Focus on removing incipient rust inside the hook cavity and foreign objects (such as broken steel wire rope scraps, stage screws) in the pulley groove, so as to prevent chain eccentric wear caused by pulley jamming during hoisting.
