Is it safe to use a chain hoist?
Hand chain hoists are typical lightweight lifting equipment. Although they are small in size, they can carry heavy objects of tons or more. With such load capacity and manual control at close range, there are inevitably some safety hazards.
Where do these security risks come from? How can we avoid it?
1. Firstly, there is a load issue.
Hand chain hoists have super strong load capacity, but they must not be overloaded. Overloading is a serious violation of operating behavior. Hand chain hoists, whether it is the lifting chain or the ratchet and pawl, have a certain bearing range. Once overloaded, there is a risk of heavy objects falling!

2. Then there is the problem of diagonal tension of heavy objects.
This is a problem that many people overlook. The lifting chain connected to the lifting target is not perpendicular to the ground. This is the last line of defense for the chain hoist. If the hook has problems, it can also cause serious falling accidents.
