　　1、 Consider the basic performance of lubricating oil

　　(1) Viscosity

　　For stage electric hoists, low to medium viscosity lubricating oil is usually chosen. If the viscosity is too high, it may cause the chain to rotate less flexibly in low temperature environments, increasing the starting load of the electric hoist; If the viscosity is too low, it may not form a thick enough oil film on the surface of the chain, making it difficult to provide good lubrication and protection.

　　(2) Antioxidant activity

　　The stage performance environment is complex, and the electric hoist may be in standby mode for a long time. Therefore, lubricating oil needs to have good antioxidant properties, be able to maintain chemical stability during a certain storage and use period, be less prone to oxidation and deterioration, and ensure that the chain always receives effective lubrication.

　　(3) Corrosion resistance

　　Stage equipment may come into contact with humid air, dust, etc. Lubricating oil should be able to prevent chain rust and corrosion. Lubricating oil with good corrosion resistance can form a protective film on the surface of the chain, isolating external corrosion factors.

　　2、 Choose according to the usage environment

　　(1) Temperature conditions

　　If the stage performance is conducted in a low-temperature environment, such as an outdoor stage in winter, lubricating oil with good low-temperature fluidity should be selected to ensure normal lubrication of the chain at low temperatures. In high-temperature environments, lubricating oil needs to have a high flash point and good thermal stability to prevent it from evaporating or deteriorating at high temperatures.

　　(2) Cleanliness requirements

　　Stage performances have certain requirements for environmental cleanliness. In order to avoid lubricating oil dripping onto the stage and causing pollution, volatile lubricating oil can be chosen. This lubricating oil can evaporate quickly after lubricating the chain, reducing its impact on the stage environment.

　　(1) Chain material

　　The chain materials of stage electric hoists are diverse, commonly including alloy steel. Different materials of chains have different adaptability to lubricating oil. For example, for alloy steel chains, lubricating oil containing extreme pressure additives should be selected to meet their lubrication needs under high loads.

　　(2) Chain structure

　　Some stage electric hoists have complex chain structures with small gaps between chain links. For this type of chain, lubricating oil that can penetrate into small gaps and is not easily thrown out should be selected to ensure that all parts of the chain are fully lubricated.

　　Choose lubricating oil products that have been certified according to relevant industry standards, such as ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification. These certifications can ensure that the lubricating oil meets certain standard requirements in terms of quality, performance, etc., thereby providing guarantees for the safe operation of stage electric hoists.
