Maintenance work after installation of electric hoist:

1. Newly installed or dismantled electric hoists should first undergo several empty car test runs. But before installation is completed, do not turn on the power for trial operation.

2. Before normal use, a static load test should be conducted with a rated load of 125% and a lifting distance of about 100 mm from the ground for 10 minutes to check if it is normal.

3. Dynamic load test is a repeated lifting and left-right movement test conducted based on the rated load weight. After the test, the mechanical transmission part, electrical part, and connection part are checked for normal and reliable operation.

4. In use, it is absolutely prohibited to use it in an environment that is not allowed, or in situations where it exceeds the rated load and the rated number of starts per hour (120 times).

5. During installation, debugging, and maintenance, it is necessary to strictly check whether the limit device is flexible and reliable. When the hook is raised to the upper limit position, the distance from the hook shell to the drum shell must be greater than 50mm (10 t, 16 t, 20 t must be greater than 120mm). When the hook is lowered to the lower limit position, the safety ring of the steel wire rope on the drum should be ensured, and the effective safety ring must be at least 2 turns.

6. It is not allowed to press two manual switch buttons simultaneously to move the electric hoist in opposite directions.

7. After completing the work, the main switch of the power supply must be opened and the power supply must be cut off.

8. The electric hoist should be operated by a dedicated person, and the operator should fully grasp the safety operating procedures. It is strictly prohibited to pull or lift it at an angle.

9. During use, specialized personnel must regularly inspect the electric hoist, take timely measures if faults are found, and carefully record them.

10. When adjusting the braking sliding amount of the electric hoist, it should be ensured that under the rated load, the braking sliding amount S is ≤ V/100 (V is the stable lifting distance within 1 minute under the load).

11. Scrapping standards for steel wire ropes: The inspection and scrapping standards for steel wire ropes shall be carried out in accordance with CB/T5972-1986 "Practical Specification for Inspection and Scrapping of Steel Wire Ropes for Cranes".

12. During the use of electric hoists, sufficient lubricating oil must be maintained and kept clean, free from impurities and dirt.

13. When oiling the steel wire rope, a hard bristled brush or soft wooden pieces should be used. It is strictly prohibited to directly oil the working steel wire rope by hand.

14. When the electric hoist is not working, it is not allowed to suspend heavy objects in the air to prevent permanent deformation of the parts.

15. If a malfunction is found during use, the main power supply should be immediately cut off.
