Inspection of Limit Switch for 2000kg Stage Electric Hoist
The limit switch is a key device to prevent over-hoisting or over-lowering of the 2000kg stage electric hoist, and it requires comprehensive step-by-step inspection:
Appearance and Installation Inspection
Check whether the housings of the upper and lower limit switches are intact, and if there are any cracks, damages or water ingress traces; inspect whether the connecting bolts between the switches and the guide rails/reels are tight, and if there is any looseness or displacement (a torque wrench can be used to recheck the torque value in accordance with the instructions); confirm that the angle and position of the switch's actuating arm are reasonable, without deformation or jamming.
Functional Test (Divided into No-Load Test and Simulated Load Test)
No-Load Test
Turn on the control power supply, operate the electric hoist to rise slowly. When the hook is close to the upper limit position (a safety distance shall be reserved, usually 1.5-2 times the reel diameter), observe whether the limit switch acts in a timely manner to cut off the power supply of the lifting motor. At the same time, check whether the brake is braked synchronously to ensure the hook stops immediately; conduct the same test for the lower limit: operate the hoist to lower slowly, and when the hook is close to the lower limit (e.g., when the steel wire rope is about to loosen or touch the ground protection), the limit switch shall cut off the lowering power supply and the brake shall apply braking.
Simulated Load Test
Use weights or a dedicated load device (load to 10%-20% of the rated load), repeat the above lifting and lowering operations to verify the triggering sensitivity and reliability of the limit switch under load conditions, so as to avoid delayed action of the switch caused by the load; during the test, a multimeter shall be used to detect the on-off status of the switch contacts to confirm that the contacts are in good contact without virtual connection or poor contact.
