In drama performances that emphasize delicate emotional expression, the Truss Stage Theatre Hoist also plays an important role. Drama performances often need to highlight the actor's monologue through directional sound effects — when an actor delivers an affectionate monologue in a corner of the stage, technicians can accurately adjust the angle and height of the directional speakers via the hoist, focusing the sound on the area where the actor is located while weakening the surrounding environmental sound. This allows the audience's attention to naturally concentrate on the actor's lines and emotional expression.

In on-site performances with frequent scene changes, the Truss Stage Theatre Hoist can cooperate with the scene transitions to quickly complete the displacement and positioning of audio equipment — from the high-positioned speakers that simulate bird calls in the "forest scene" to the side surround speakers that create an echo effect in the "valley scene". The Truss Stage Theatre Hoist can complete the synchronous adjustment of multiple sets of audio equipment within tens of seconds during the scene's blackout transition, ensuring the sound effects are seamlessly connected with the scene atmosphere and allowing the audience to remain immersed in the context created by the performance throughout the scene changes.
