In stage scene transitions, even a positional error of just a few millimeters in props can lead to irreversible consequences—ranging from disrupting the visual integrity of the scene to triggering safety hazards such as prop collisions and equipment malfunctions.
For example, in a stage play depicting the style of old Shanghai, the multi-layered three-dimensional street backdrop consists of 6 independent panels, each weighing over 500 kilograms. The gap at the joint of these panels must be strictly controlled within 2 centimeters. If one of the backdrop panels has a slight deviation, it will not only create an obvious "breakage feeling" in the street scene but also may cause frictional collisions with adjacent panels during subsequent scene transitions.
However, the 110V single-phase stage hoist, relying on its advanced servo control system and high-precision displacement sensor, can real-time capture the movement trajectory of the backdrop panels and strictly control the translation deviation within 10 millimeters: During the start-up phase, the hoist pulls the backdrop panel stably at a low speed of 0.1 m/s, with the sensor feeding back positional data in real time and performing precision calibration every time the panel moves 5 centimeters; when approaching the joint position, the speed is further reduced to 0.05 m/s, ensuring that each backdrop panel can be accurately connected. The gaps after joining are uniform and minimal, with the maximum gap not exceeding 1.5 centimeters.
From the audience's perspective, the entire street backdrop appears as an integrated whole, with mottled walls and scattered signboards connected seamlessly, just like a real old Shanghai street. This allows the audience to be instantly immersed in the era atmosphere set by the plot.
