1. 2. Check the end of the rope. The safety and reliability of the fixed connection part of the rope end are very important for the safety of lifting machinery. The rope end part should undergo the following safety inspections: ① The section of steel wire rope led out from the fixed end should be inspected, because fatigue breakage or corrosion in this part is extremely dangerous; ② The deformation or wear of the fixed device itself should also be inspected; ③ For rope end fixing devices using pressed or forged rope clamps, it is necessary to check for cracks and the possibility of sliding between the rope clamp and the steel wire rope; ④ Check the broken wires and corrosion inside the detachable cherry blossom shaped joints, rope clamps, pressure plates, and other devices at the rope end, to ensure the reliability of fixing the rope end; 5. Check if there are any protruding steel wires at the tail end of the looped socket type rope head that may cause hand injuries. If there is obvious wire breakage or corrosion near the rope end fixing device or inside the rope end fixing device, the steel wire rope can be shortened and reinstalled on the rope end fixing device, and the length of the steel wire rope should meet the minimum requirement of two turns wrapped on the drum.
