The core lifting operation of a theatre hand chain hoist follows a continuous process: Manual Input → Power Transmission → Speed Reduction & Force Multiplication → Safety Locking. Each step relies on precise internal mechanisms to ensure smooth, accurate lifting of heavy stage loads (typically dozens to hundreds of kilograms), meeting theatres’ high demands for operational precision and safety. The operator pulls the hand chain (endless closed chain) alternately and evenly clockwise. The hand chain engages precisely with the hand wheel (with toothed grooves), transferring hand pulling force to the wheel and driving it to rotate clockwise around the central shaft. In theatre applications, the hand chain must be pulled smoothly and at a constant speed to avoid sudden jerks that could cause chain jamming or load swinging, endangering stage equipment. The toothed grooves of the hand wheel are designed to perfectly match the chain links, preventing slippage and ensuring lossless power transmission.
