Product Details

The fundamental difference between upside down stage hoists and upright-hanging stage hoists lies in their structural design, which directly determines the differences in their installation logic and operation procedures.

The upright-hanging stage hoist adopts a traditional structural design of "top-fixed and bottom-loaded". Its hoist head is located at the top with the hook facing downward. During installation, the upper hook needs to be fixed on load-bearing structures such as cross beams and trusses at the top of the stage. It is essential to ensure that the suspension point and the center of gravity of the lifted heavy object are in a straight line, forming a vertical force-bearing system. This structure is consistent with the design logic of ordinary industrial electric hoists, belonging to a traditional and mature installation form. The installation process needs to focus on ensuring the firmness of the top suspension point, and the fixing operation usually requires staff to work on catwalks or trusses at the top of the stage.

In contrast, the upside-down stage hoist adopts an innovative "reverse suspension" structure. It changes the original downward-facing lower hook into a fixed end, which is connected upward to the load-bearing structure at the top of the stage, while the hoist head and chain are located below. The lifting of heavy objects is realized by adjusting the positions of the chain and the hoist head. This design completely changes the force direction of the traditional upright suspension. During installation, there is no need to lift the entire hoist to the top for fixation. Instead, the connection between the hoist, trusses and heavy objects can be completed on the ground, and then the overall structure can be lifted to the specified height by controlling the hoist, which greatly simplifies the installation process. Meanwhile, the upside-down hoist is usually equipped with auxiliary components such as chain straighteners. Even if the chain is twisted, it can be automatically adjusted to the normal direction, avoiding chain jamming faults that affect the installation progress.
