In special performances and outdoor scenarios, higher requirements are put forward for the functionality, adaptability, and environmental integration of stage machinery. Among them, the waterproof outdoor theater hoist, as a key piece of equipment, requires its functions and technical characteristics to be designed specifically according to the characteristics of the scene.

Take live-action performances as an example. Such performances rely on real environments such as natural landscapes and ancient buildings as stage backdrops. For instance, the well-known *Impression Liu Sanjie* uses the landscape of the Lijiang River as a natural stage, and *The Song of Everlasting Sorrow* is set against the garden of Huaqing Palace, pursuing an immersive experience of "coexistence between live scenes and performances". In such cases, the application of the hoist needs to meet multiple core requirements: - Adaptability to extreme environments: In outdoor settings, the waterproof outdoor theater hoist must have strong resistance to rain, wind, and corrosion. For example, hoists installed in the open air need to adopt sealed motors and rust-proof materials to prevent rainwater from seeping in and causing circuit failures; in the face of strong winds in mountainous areas or by rivers, their mechanical structures must be reinforced to ensure stable operation under wind loads, without affecting the control accuracy of the equipment due to shaking. - Concealment and environmental integration: To avoid damaging the integrity of the natural landscape, waterproof outdoor theater hoists often need to be installed in a hidden way — either embedded in backgrounds such as mountains and trees, or cleverly integrated with the structure of ancient buildings. This requires the hoist to have a more compact design. At the same time, the noise during operation must be strictly controlled to avoid interfering with the sound atmosphere of the performance (for example, in Impression LiuSanjie, the hoist that controls the lifting of the lighting frame needs to be hidden behind the bamboo forest along the banks of the Lijiang River, so that it neither blocks the audience's view of the landscape nor breaks the tranquility of the river surface with mechanical noise).
