Our Theatre Double Brake Winch is purpose-built for professional stage rigging, theatre venues and live event productions, where overhead load safety always comes first. Its core advantage lies in the independent double brake system, offering redundant safety protection that single-brake winches cannot match.
Two separate braking units work independently. If one brake suffers mechanical wear or power failure, the second brake still holds the load steadily without dropping. This fail-safe design meets strict stage safety standards, ideal for suspending lighting trusses, LED screens and stage scenery above performers and audiences. Each brake can handle 1.25 times rated load during load testing, eliminating load slipping risks.
