The historical development of Performance Construction Stage Hoist is closely related to the overall evolution of elevators. In ancient times, both ancient China and European countries had a history of using tools such as windlasses to vertically transport people and goods. Around 2000 BC, the Egyptians likely used elevators during the construction of the pyramids, while pulleys and ropes used for drawing water from deep wells can also be regarded as the embryonic form of elevators. In 80 AD, gladiators and wild animals were transported to the height of the arena in the Roman Colosseum using primitive elevators. The elevator at the Greek Monastery of Saint Barlaam, located on a mountaintop approximately 61 meters above the ground, used baskets or cargo nets to transport people and goods up and down. With the development of industry and the construction sector, the technology of Performance Construction Stage Hoist has continuously improved and been refined, gradually being applied to various construction scenarios.
