The daily maintenance and regular inspection of the fixed-speed stage hoist chain must strictly comply with industry safety standards (such as the internationally accepted ISO standards and China's GB standards, etc.): - Crack inspection: Use magnifying glasses or non-destructive testing equipment (such as magnetic particle inspection) to focus on checking vulnerable parts such as chain link welds and stress nodes for tiny cracks. Once a crack is found, the chain must be replaced immediately and is prohibited from further use. - Deformation detection: Measure the opening angle and straightness of the chain links with special measuring tools. If the chain links are twisted, bent, or otherwise deformed (with a deformation exceeding 5% of the original size), it will cause uneven force bearing, and the chain needs to be replaced in a timely manner. - Wear assessment: Measure the diameter of the chain links with calipers. When the wear amount exceeds 10% of the original size, the load-bearing capacity of the fixed-speed stage hoist chain will drop significantly, and it must be compulsorily replaced. At the same time, it is necessary to check the wear of the pins between the chain links. If there is jamming or unsmooth rotation, special lubricant should be added or the pins should be replaced. - Rust treatment: Regularly check the degree of rust on the surface of the fixed-speed stage hoist chain. Minor rust can be treated with rust remover and coated with anti-rust oil. If the rust has penetrated into the interior of the chain links, causing embrittlement of the metal material, the chain must be directly scrapped to avoid accidents caused by rust-induced breakage.
