Precautions for electric hoists
1. After completing the work, the main power switch must be opened and the main power supply must be cut off.
2. The electric hoist should be operated by a dedicated person, and the operator should have a deep understanding of the safety operating procedures.
3. The electric hoist should be inspected by specialized personnel at least once every ten days, and any malfunctions should be promptly addressed and carefully recorded.
4. Do not let the brake ring be contaminated with oil.
5. The brake should be adjusted with a compression nut to allow for easy suspension of heavy objects, and its braking distance should not exceed 80 millimeters under heavy loads.
6. If any defective faults are found during use, the main power supply should be immediately cut off. Ensure that the electric hoist has sufficient lubricating oil.
7. After installation, add lubricating oil according to the lubrication instructions and check if the lubrication is in good condition, ensuring that the lubricating oil is clean and free of impurities and dirt.
8. It is necessary to be cautious to apply lubricating oil directly to the working steel wire rope by hand, as the burrs and cracks on the surface of the steel wire rope at this time can seriously damage the hands. When applying oil, a hard bristled brush or a wooden board with smooth planing around should be used.
9. In winter, due to the low temperature, when oiling the steel wire rope, the lubricating oil should be heated and deepened first.
10. When there is significant wear on the surface of the wire rope, the number of wire rope fractures should be appropriately reduced.
11. Special attention should be paid to the condition of vulnerable parts during inspection.
12. When the electric hoist is not working, it is not allowed to suspend heavy objects in the air to prevent deformation of the parts.
13. After using the electric hoist, it should be stopped at the designated location and the hook should be raised to a height of more than 2 meters above the ground.
