To reduce the fire hazards of electric hoists on stage, the following precautions should be taken:
1. In summer, especially when the temperature is above 38 degrees Celsius, when using an electric hoist to lift heavy objects for more than 20 minutes, the operation should be suspended to allow the electric hoist's motor to fully dissipate heat.
2. Ordinary types of stage electric hoists cannot be used in flammable and explosive places. Explosion proof electric hoists are required when lifting heavy objects in flammable and explosive places such as smelting and coal mines.
3. Under any circumstances, it is strictly prohibited to dismantle or modify the electrical wiring devices inside the electric hoist without authorization.
4. During use, if any abnormal noise is detected from the circuit of the electric hoist, the lifting work must be temporarily suspended, the circuit of the electric hoist must be checked, and the fault must be eliminated before proceeding with the lifting work.
