When the lighting lifting hoist needs to start or continue operating, the control system sends signals to actuate control components such as electromagnetic directional valves, altering the flow direction of hydraulic oil. The hydraulic oil pump begins to operate, drawing hydraulic oil from the tank and delivering it to the brake cylinder via pipelines. At this point, the pressure of the hydraulic oil entering the brake cylinder overcomes the elastic force of the brake spring, pushing the brake piston backward to separate the brake lining from the brake disc or brake wheel, releasing the braking state. The throttle valve and other components in the hydraulic system can control the flow rate of hydraulic oil, thereby regulating the movement speed of the brake piston to achieve smooth control of the brake release process. For example, when the lighting lifting hoist needs to start slowly during a stage performance, adjusting the throttle valve to reduce the hydraulic oil flow allows the brake piston to move slowly, enabling smooth brake release and preventing impacts on stage equipment and performances.
